What follows is a tragicomedy that practically writes itself: MAGA women suddenly realizing the men they’ve elevated are openly plotting to strip them of the very rights they take for granted.

The men in the spotlight don’t mince words. Pastor Doug Wilson, whose network spans more than 150 churches, declares: “In the church, no [women can’t lead]. Because the Bible says not to.” His colleague adds: “In my ideal society, we would vote as households. I’d be the one to cast the vote.” And when asked about repealing the 19th Amendment? “I would support that.” This isn’t subtle; it’s patriarchy with a bullhorn.

Meanwhile, many of the women interviewed twist themselves into knots to justify it. One insists she “submits” to her husband as head of the household. Others dodge the blunt question of whether they’d surrender their vote altogether. Some gush that Trump is “horrifically wonderfully honest” while waving off his fraud convictions. And then there’s the chant of “Trump 2028,” delivered without irony, even as they admit the Constitution doesn’t allow it.
